Violin has taught me that improvement comes slowly, through repetition and attention to small details. Working toward ABRSM Grades 5 and 6 gave me clear goals and a sense of accomplishment, but it also made me appreciate the process behind each performance. As I continue with solo pieces and lead my school’s Music Ensemble, I have come to enjoy music not only as something to perform, but as something I can keep learning and growing with.
